Dr. White was born and raised in Kansas. He graduated from Kansas
State University in 1971 with a Bachelors degree in Science. In 1973
he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After
graduating, he spent nine years as a veterinarian working in the
cattle industry in western Kansas. In 1982 he moved to Emporia,
Kansas and was co-owner of a mixed animal practice there for 18
years. While practicing in Kansas, Dr. White was president of
“Veterinary Clubs”, Founder of Flint Hills Beef Fest, a member of
the Garden City School Board, and a member of the Emporia Kansas
Chamber of Commerce Board. In 1998 Dr. White moved to Parker,
Colorado and was the Assistant Vice President of Supply and
Operations for Future Beef Operations. In 2003 Dr. White joined the
Animal Clinic of Parker where he enjoys the ability to practice in a
high quality veterinary practice. Dr. White, through his association with veterinary medicine and agriculture, has also pursued other interests. He implemented computer programs and systems and assisted in the design and oversight in constructing a one million-gallon ethanol plant. He developed IRM (Integrated Resource Management) systems, a management tool for cow-calf ranches, for multiple ranches throughout Kansas and Colorado. He designed and patented Inventory Control Systems, which is responsible for providing a high quality steady supply of meat production. He also was design and project lead on multiple computer implementations involving SQL, One World, and Advanced Planning solutions that help businesses control production and their financial goals.
Dr. White has been married for 37 years to his beautiful wife Marikay. They have three children together, Joel is 35, and twins Seth and Molly, age 30. They also have the joy of babysitting and taking care of one grandson named M.J. who is 18 months old. Pres enjoys fly-fishing, fly tying, horsehair hitching, mountain activities, and is also very involved with his church.
